Welcome to the Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare & Life Sciences (JAIHL).

JAIHL is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing high-quality research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and life sciences. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for original research articles, reviews, and methodological innovations applying computational intelligence to biomedical and clinical domains.

JAIHL promotes interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers, clinicians, data scientists, and industry professionals, supporting the responsible and impactful integration of AI technologies in healthcare and life science research.

Submissions Open — Inaugural Volume (Vol. 1, 2026)

JAIHL is now accepting manuscripts for its first volume. We welcome original research articles, review articles, methodological/technical papers, and short communications from researchers, clinicians, and data scientists working across AI and the health sciences.

  • Deadline: Submissions for Volume 1 (2026) close August 31, 2026
  • Fees at submission: None. A modest APC applies only after acceptance.
  • Review: Double-anonymized, by a minimum of two independent subject-matter reviewers

As JAIHL prepares its inaugural volume, we are inviting researchers, clinicians, and data scientists working across artificial intelligence, healthcare, and life sciences to join our founding Editorial Board and reviewer pool.

We are particularly looking for expertise across our core focus areas: medical AI and diagnostics, drug discovery and genomics, clinical decision support, healthcare data science, public and global health AI, and AI ethics and governance.
